Seamlessly Shift Shades: Match Your Maybelline Lipstick to Your Day

The Maybelline Vinyl Shades campaign provides a transformative AR experience, allowing users to see themselves wearing different Maybelline lipstick shades suited for various daily scenarios. Upon entering the lens, the user initially finds themselves in a New York-themed pizza place restaurant, with their lips adorned in the 'LIPPY' shade, immediately immersing them in a tailored scenario.
The user journey is interactive and fluid; a tap on the lipstick product displayed in the lens transitions the background to the next setting—a metro/subway scene where the 'SAUCY' shade takes over. This progression continues through a workplace scenario with the 'WITTY' shade and culminates at a party scene featuring the 'UNRIVALED' shade. Each environment and lipstick color enhances the user's virtual presence and aligns with the setting's ambiance.
To engage further and capture the immersive experience, the lens prompts users to 'BLOW A KISS.' Responding to this cue triggers a camera flash effect, akin to a photo booth snapshot, revealing a final montage of four photographs. Each photo displays the user in one of the four settings, each paired with the corresponding lipstick shade. This final visual not only showcases the versatility of Maybelline Vinyl Shades but also encourages users to share their personalized AR photographs on social media, enhancing campaign reach and user interaction.
